Orphanages
The Myanmar Impact Team supports four orphanages in and near Yangon, Myanmar. Although the goal of this current campaign is to support 100 children, there are 177 children who live at these orphanages. In Myanmar, it is legal to start Christian churches. However, it is challenging. Therefore, a strategy God has given to the leaders is to reach Myanmar through orphanages.
Each orphanage is a church in itself. The children are raised by the Word of God, worshipping and praying corporately every day. Each orphanage is also a gathering place where ministry for adults happens. For example, Myanmar Agape Orphanage (MAO), the largest of the orphanages we support, holds an annual Bible conference and weekly church services. International Calvary Theological Seminary (ICTS) also sits on the grounds of MAO.
Four Orphanages
Each orphanage provides children with food, lodging, clothing, educational supplies, basic healthcare, and spiritual discipleship. Children go to public school. The orphanages we support are below. The children are infants through teenagers. After graduating high school, some become students at ICTS or become staff members at their home orphanage.
| Orphanage | # of Children | Leader |

| Kids’ Life Orphanage | 22 | Mr. Ral Tin Sang |

| Total | 177 |
What Sponsorship Means
When you sponsor a child, you bless him or her in three ways:
- Prayer. You can pray regularly for the child and know that he or she is also praying for you. Each child has daily devotions and prayer time.
- Financial giving. For just $40 per month, you can provide food, lodging, clothing, education, and basic healthcare to your child.
- Writing. Through the pen pal program, you can email your child. Building a relationship with a child on the other side of the world changes you and him or her.
